In his role as CEO, Scott Ford is responsible for creating, communicating, and implementing the organization's vision, mission, and overall strategic direction. He, along with other members of the executive team, is directly involved in formulating and implementing the strategic plan that guides the direction of Pepper and its future product offerings.
Scott is a co-founder and managing director of OpenAir Equity Partners, a venture capital firm focused on wireless technology and Internet of Things (IoT) investments. Scott is a long-time wireless investor who led the venture capital investing and business development efforts at Sprint for a number of years prior to joining OpenAir.
As COO, David oversees all business operations, including infrastructure, support and distribution.
Prior to Pepper, David held executive management roles at Leap Wireless where he drove strategy, business development, and sales through national retailers, as well as managed Leap's strategic relationship with Sprint.
David has held a variety of executive management positions at Sprint in the sales, business development and finance arenas. During his tenure at Sprint, he reshaped the company’s approach to national retail distribution, as well as started its wireless wholesale program and was on the board of Virgin Mobile USA. He is also one of the founding members of the Sprint PCS joint venture.
David holds degrees from North Carolina State University and Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
Mark Rolston is a renowned designer with a 25-year career of creating for the world’s largest and most innovative companies. As Chief Creative Officer, Mark helps guide the Pepper product strategy and user experience. Mark is the founder of argodesign, a product design consultancy that serves as a growth partner to entrepreneurs and an incubator of new products and experiences. Prior to founding argodesign with his longtime colleague, Mark was the Chief Creative Officer of frogdesign, responsible for the creative direction of one of the most successful product design firms in the world. Mark was an early pioneer of software user experience, working with clients to leverage emerging technologies and setting the tone for user interface design and mobile platforms. A veteran design leader, innovator and patent holder, he is an internationally recognized expert on software, experience design, emerging computing platforms, and mobile applications.
As Vice President of Product & Strategy, Steve oversees and directs the company's strategic marketing and product development initiatives, as well as the infrastructure development necessary for the company to scale nationally.
Prior to Pepper, Steve founded Bosch Consulting Group, where he provided guidance and tactics for businesses to grow and transform their organizations.
In addition, Steve has over eight years experience with Best Buy, heading up strategy and business development for a diverse set of businesses within the company, including Best Buy's multi-billion dollar Home Customer Solutions Group.
Steve holds a degree in Accounting from Calvin College and received his MBA from University of Iowa School of Management.
